JMB--you are a traitor. No self respecting New Jersey gal is a cowboys fan. The Giants, Jets, and Eagles are the only legitimate teams, unless you have Dallas roots, and then your violation is excused.
And Tex, I do believe it is a violation to gloat and post the picture after the game. Next time, go out on a limb and post before you know of the victory.
The boys do look very cute though, minus Mr. Incredible of course :-)
Red--You crack me up. I was going to post at the beginning of the game, but I got hooked on the thumping of the Eagles while folding laundry (Mr. Incredible was at the game--for me to be watching when he wasn't around says a lot!)
I am a traitor, due to my husband. He grew up near Bell Labs in his neighbor had a one of the first satellite dishes available and he was from Texas and so my husband spent his youth watching the Cowboys. My family are Jets fans, hope srings eternal.
You guys crack me up. Red, just so you know, for the first time EVER, the Lt was rooting for the Eagles...just because he hates the Cowboys so much. You were both in sports solidarity. lol.
You can tell the Lt. that I root for his Giants when they play the Cowboys or the Patriots, so maybe we need to get together for a football game when the Giants play the Cowboys ;-) I actually enjoyed the Giant Superbowl victory over the evil Patriots a couple of years back. I did feel a little dirty afterward though ;-)
And just to clarify, my hatred for the Cowboys does not extend to other Dallas teams (unlike Tex who has admitted to rooting against the entire city of Philadelphia!) So there is more love in my heart than hers ;-)
For the record, the Eagles were the last team to win in the Metrodome, and it was in the playoffs last season. I say Favre takes Romo to school, and the Vikings stay home to face Arizona in a battle of Hall of Fame QBs.
