Sounds from the playroom

As I stood by the stove this morning, stirring the oatmeal for our family's breakfast, I heard these tokens of sibling affection coming from the adjacent playroom:

"Hey-yuh, Maria, you just knocked down the Tower of Schlambadingscoobalidoo! Sto-o-o-op!"

A few minutes later, "Ahhhhhhh! No no bite, Maria, no no bite!"

Can you feel the love? :)

Kat, this is hilarious. My older brother and I were the same years apart as C and M, and we bickered a great deal--all the while, loving and looking out for each other. It's a special kind of sibling love :-)

Precious! I love the visual of big brother, C, teaching little Maria not to bite. He's such a big boy!! This reminds me what great teachers our children are to one another--the lessons we instill and make important become the cornerstone for how they conduct themselves. This makes it even more important to get it right with the first one because he/she will be influencing the rest of the brood!
