Parenting Style

What type of Parenting Philosophy would this fall under? :-) (This is not a Rick Astley video, I promise.)

I'm glad you liked it. My kids took to playing swords with sticks in the backyard last fall and so we thought we would encourage the habit with a slightly safer medium--foam.

Would this be conflict resolution or aggression therapy? Seriously though, they look like they are having a lot of fun. I never thought of having my children wear bicycle helmets. Maybe that's why...

My first thought was some type of masculinization program a la Dr. James Dobson. You know, there's that whole conspiracy to feminize our boys in the homes, in the schools, in culture at large. Well, what could be better than smiting your older sister while your dad cheers you on to affirm a 2 year old boy's masculinity, right?

Dude, I thought that was just some video you found on youtube and then I realized...those are your actual kids.

Awesome.

I think when Alice moves to NJ we should outfit all the kids in helmets and foam and let them go at it...Jack is a bit of shrimp I think compared to Charlie, and definitely when compared to Schmoops and the rest of Alice's gang but he makes up for it with a mean growl.
